The treatment of varicose veins is an important procedure to enhance the health and daily life of the patient. Varicose veins do not only affect the visual appearance of the patient, they can cause serious damage to your health. Without treatment, conditions such as deep-vein thrombosis, thrombophlebitis, eczema of the feet or the ulcus cruris venosum, the „open ulcer“ may follow.

Affected veins are diagnosed via ultrasonography, blood tests and physical examinations.

In addition to the routine treatment of varicose veins via compression stockings, special wound treatments or lymphatic drainage, we can offer you the following treatment options:

Sclerotherapy with foam The larger varicose veins are injected with a special foam and obliterated. The treatment takes between 20 and 40 minutes and is performed in one or more sessions as necessary.

Microschlerotherapy Cosmetically disturbed small veins are punctured and obliterated with very fine needles. With this procedure we usually achieve the very best cosmetic results.
